Meanwhile Joe is enjoying Drama club at school and looking forward to leaving Primary for Young Mens.
Lije is deserving of a new title "Dangerous Lije" for all the antics he gets up to. I am sure he will not be satisfied until he has really hurt himself. Unfortunately, like Dad, he seems to have a fairly high pain threshold, so he almost never cries when he goes to far, just sort of grunts or runs to mum for a cryless rub of the injured knee etc.

Mum is slowly getting the house free of unwanted junk through charity shops and where possible - Freecycle.
And tomorrow - we have a skip arriving to get rid of the table, microwave, bits of wood, door, the build up of recyling (that Joe persistently negleted to put out for the bin men) etc that currently adorns our back garden. Much to the delight of our long suffering neighbour, who, when Micky told them we were getting a skip was very pleased and confessed they were thinking of asking us about it since they are now looking at trying to sell their house. How embarassing - just glad we ordered the skip and spoke to them before they spoke to us.
Plans for the garden include extending the patio, laying some turf and setting out some veggie patches.
